About Dr. Bruce Rothschild

Dr. Bruce Rothschild started his private practice in psychiatry and medication management in Bloomfield, CT. in order to provide exemplary care to his patients in the greater Hartford, CT area. 


Since 1993, Dr. Rothschild has been the Director of Consultation-Liaison Services at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT.


Dr. Bruce Rothschild was the Medical Director at Beacon Behavioral Services in Avon, Connecticut, a multi-disciplinary practice, from 1996 through 2018. In his role, he provided psychopharmacological evaluations and follow-up for this large multi-site, mental

health practice.  


He initially started practicing psychiatry in Connecticut at the Institute of Living, where he developed and directed the Eating Disorder Day Hospital.
