Dr. Bruce Rothschild established his private practice in psychiatry and medication management in Bloomfield, CT. in 2018. His focus is on providing exemplary psychiatric care to those in need in the greater Hartford, CT area.
Dr. Rothschild was recently appointed Program Psychiatrist at Hartford Hospital's Institute of Living in the Professionals Program.
From 1992 to 2018, Dr. Rothschild served as the Director of Consultation-Liaison Services at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT. He also served on the Medical Staff Council and as Coordinator of Medical Education.
During that same period, Dr. Bruce Rothschild was the Medical Director at Beacon Behavioral Services in Avon, Connecticut, a multi-disciplinary practice. In his role, he provided psycho pharmacological evaluations and follow-up for this large multi-site, mental
health practice.
Dr. Rothschild initially started practicing psychiatry in Connecticut at the Institute of Living where he developed and directed the Eating Disorder Day Hospital.
